The nursery has demonstrated its commitment to children's safety and well-being, as evidenced by a significant event notification on 13 September 2024 regarding safeguarding policies, accident/injury procedures, and the safety of premises. Following this, a regulatory telephone call on 2 October 2024 confirmed that their safeguarding and accident procedures were effective, and premises, environment, and equipment were suitable. The provider proactively addressed areas where requirements were not fully met by reviewing risk assessments for nappy changing to ensure continuous child safety. This setting is registered with Ofsted, reinforcing its adherence to regulatory standards. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of a significant event. - On 2 October 2024, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found that safeguarding policies and procedures were effective along with the accident or injury procedures. The provider also ensures that the safety and suitability of premises, environment and equipment are appropriate. However, we also found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. They have reviewed the risk assessments regarding nappy changing procedures to ensure children are safe at all times. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
