It has since expanded its reach and now accepts children from a broader area. The nursery places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, frequently incorporating nature, farming, and gardening activities into its curriculum. They maintain close relationships with Overbury Enterprises and Farms, offering unique experiences like trailer rides to visit lambing pens, Christmas tree plantations, and bluebell woods. Due to its popularity and a successful OFSTED report, places are currently limited, and families are encouraged to apply early. While the nursery is at full capacity for its main programmes, it does have availability in its before and after-school sessions. The nursery is located adjacent to Overbury First School and prioritises a hands-on approach to education, fostering a deep connection with the natural environment. Our ethos Overbury Grasshoppers emphasises outdoor learning, incorporating nature, farming, and gardening into its curriculum.
