The nursery caters for children from birth to six years old, with 62 children currently on roll and a capacity for 50. The dedicated team of 11 childcare staff, 10 of whom hold Level 2 or above early years qualifications, are committed to fostering an inclusive environment. The nursery operates year-round, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm, providing a consistent and supportive experience for children and families. An ambitious curriculum, designed to support communication and language development, is a real strength, with staff actively engaging children in early word acquisition and offering support for those with English as an additional language. The nursery also places a strong emphasis on physical development through diverse activities and promotes emotional well-being by helping children understand their feelings and those of others. Additionally, children learn about healthy eating, oral hygiene, and environmental responsibility, including recycling and gardening, contributing to their holistic development.
