Parents are kept up to date with the children's day to day activities such as meals and nap times and there are also events that parents can attend. Another review mentions the children coming home messy, absolutely they do but this is alongside stories of the fun activities they have completed and thoroughly enjoyed. Personally I wouldn't have it any other way!
