We follow progress, see photos and get reports on what they eat, how long they sleep etc, all through an app. The children have songs, stories and a curriculum of learn through play. Our son’s development has been remarkable and we can see the spark in him when we pick him up, having had a fun, educational, nurturing, sensory experience with his friends and wonderful staff, all of whom he mentions when at home.\n\nThe management have also been very kind, understanding and flexible with us. Naturally they are running a school for babies and toddlers, so there are always some ups and downs, but as a neighbour works for a nursery, we were in a unique position to compare. There is always something new in the garden, both in terms of toys and climbing frames, running track and other bits and bobs they introduced animals for the children and indoors things get replaced when old. Everything was always clean as well (well not always the children - they had FUN!) which meant a lot to my wife Jana.\n\nActive play is mixed with discipline in a way our girls found enjoyable. The moment they went to Purple Panda we noticed an immediate improvement in speech, maths, drawing and much more. They were always good girls so the routine was fairly easy for them to adjust to.\n\nPurple Panda's goal is to make all children ready for school. It has a highly educational focus and I cannot express that if the goal for your little one(s) is education, this is at the heart of the nursery, our girls are more than ready, both academically and practically with the nursery helping with toilet training, dressing and many other things.\n\nMost of all, we always felt the staff charged with our world loved our children. It wasn't just a job, they really loved our girls and that more than anything meant the world to us.\n\nNaturally teaching toddlers is a tricky old business and not always a smooth ride. Purple Panda can improve their communications with parents and while they have a good relationship with a local old people's home, there were not the trips promised nor grand parent's days and other initiatives. If not mentioned we wouldn't have expected them, and classes such as Yoga Bugs and other fun activities where local experts were brought in more than made up for this.\n\nAll in all, this is a great nursery and by and large improving each year. Children enthusiastically fetch their coats and hats when it is time to go outside. In warmer weather, older children enjoy direct access through the open doors to the garden. Children develop their physical skills and confidence as they ride bikes, scoot and climb in the well-laid-out outdoor space.
