Registered in 2006, it operates all year round, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, providing full-day care. The day nursery has 54 places and currently cares for 162 children. With an outstanding Ofsted rating, granted on 22 August 2025, Rosedene Saltburn excels in all areas, including the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management. The dedicated team of 22 staff, 16 of whom hold Level 3 or above early years qualifications, are passionate about their roles and foster a stimulating environment where children thrive. The day nursery promotes a language-rich environment, encouraging children to develop strong communication skills and a love of reading. Rosedene Saltburn also provides government-funded childcare. They quickly identify any possible delays in children's development. Staff work tirelessly to secure specific and targeted interventions. Staff provide intensive support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and their families. They work extremely closely with all agencies involved to ensure that children receive consistent and individualised support. Outdoor space Children demonstrate very high levels of energy and enthusiasm as they enjoy the extensive opportunities for outdoor learning. Staff use very skilled questioning techniques to encourage children to carefully plan what they want to do. Children then work together to support each other's ideas.
