I was very nervous about him going to nursery when I returned to work, as he is very attached to me. However, after lots of settling in sessions and support from the staff, he is now so excited to arrive every time we go. Staff are easy to get in contact with and very quick to reassure and act on anything I have queried. The facilities are lovely and he has a really varied diet whilst there. There are always lots of lovely toys and activities for him to get stuck into at nursery. Uploads onto the app are frequent, considering how busy they must be with a room full of babies! My son's key worker is Jodie and he adores her. She is so interested and invested in his happiness and development! Thank you to Seabrook for taking such good care of our baby.",

"reviewBody": "My son went to Seabrook for 2 years and it was the best experience for him. Not only did they help tackle some eating problems he had but the difference we saw in my son in a matter of weeks was massive. The transition into nursery and from room to room was personal to my son and smooth running.\nThey were always there when I needed a catch up on progress or any concerns I had over his development. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, even though I felt anxious to leave him with others I knew I left him in the best care. The support we received in helping us with the transition to school was informative, so easy and very useful as we didn’t have a clue as first time parents. I want to give a huge thank you to everyone at Seabrook who supported and cared for my son. You are all amazing.",

"reviewBody": "My daughter has been here since she was 8 months old. She is now 4 and was scheduled to leave the nursery to attend school in September. The company i was working for let me go at rhe end of December due to budget cuts, i let the nursery know as soon as i knew and spoke with the manager Becky at the time. She agreed that we end rhe nursery placement with the noice period that you have to give until end of January which meant i would have a nursery bill to pay at the end of January without any income. I kept in touch with the nursery to let them know of any updates every week as i had a job pffer from rhe same company and Becky had agreed that we could split the payment from January into instalments to pay off the arrears and continue the childcare so i could work. This week i was made aware i was not to bring my daughter back without the arrears being cleared. Despite the agreement that was in place. Words from head office “we dont offer free childcare” i havent asked for free childcare i have asked for childcare to be continued so i am able to pay off the arrears and continue to work. I am now unable to sign the contract gor my new role thats due Monday as i do not have the childcare. I am now unable to work despite me spending £160,000 to childbase with both of my children attending. This is not reliable childcare and if you have been in your job for less than 2 years i would think about choosing someqhere with a bit of compassion and where they are willing to work with you. Despitw all of thw above they will be taking me to court apparently with additional 5% added on every month. No welfare checks for my child after nof attending for 2 weeks. This company had a net worth of 3.6million in 2020. Now they are a 1.6million pound company. Its not rocket science they are just there to claw bavk fhe pennies.\n\nThe nursery was much better ran and not as high of a staff turnover when Emma ran the nursery.\n\nBecky works 2/3 jobs but fails to put 100% into the most important job. Mamagement and clear communucations within a childcare setting.\n\nReview edited after the response below:\n\nFrom your staff and other parents i have spoken to they are disgusted you couldnt do more as you have for others so lets not act like you did everuthing you could because as per the agreement the fees would have been paid this month and the arrears. I have now taken this legally for loss of monies due to failing to stick to your original agreement.",

"reviewBody": "Our 2yr old daughter started here in January 2023, and at first was so shy as it was a new environment for her. Within 2-3 weeks she had really opened up, outgoing, making new friendships with peers & teachers, singing new nursery rhymes & learning about new things on a weekly basis. She loves going to nursery & her favourite teachers are Alex, Uzma and Stacey. Amazing staff who keep me updated on her progress via the app (kidzone) & in person. They have freshly & healthy cooked meals daily. I can’t fault Seabrook, thank you for making my child progress & be even more confident",

"reviewBody": "Soon after joining Seabrook, we found out that our son has delayed Speech and Language due to deafness caused by glue ear which lasted 10 months.\n\nOur son has been under Tegan Knightly's care since 2021 and she has been instrumental in his gradual development. When she took over as his key worker, our son was not able focus for more than 5 seconds, was unable to follow instructions, was almost non-verbal and therefore unable to express himself, his emotions and needs. Essentially, he was way back of where he should have been. Tegan gave him the attention and aids he required to gradually turn this around. She implemented 'bucket time' to slowly increase his focus so that now he can focus for 20 mins, she introduced one-on-one interaction with herself and slowly introduced other children. She gave us regular verbal updates but also updates via the parentzone app. Tegan also used several different approaches and techniques to improve his vocabulary and choice boards, etc but also willing to take on suggestions from us as well. She was also able to make him more independent and follow instructions such as wash your hands, empty his plates after eating a meal, etc. She also spotted that our son was gifted in other areas in that he could read at the age of 4 and recite and recognise numbers up-to 300 and then built on this. Rest assured that if Tegan is looking after your child that they are in the best of hands. My wife and I would like to thank Tegan from the bottom of our hearts and will forever be indebted to her. She is an absolute star.\n\nJade Mead (Head of SENDCO at Seabrook) has been very supportive in terms of helping us applying for a school placement (we got our 1st choice) for our son. Jade helped us with necessary and numerous reports, forms, assessment and most importantly the EHCP application which was successfully granted which is so important that our son receives the support required when he moves on from Seabrook. Jade was ever so accommodating in terms of having catch-ups and answering our queries, gave us regular reviews and meetings. She also chased Central Bedfordshire Council regarding the EHCP application. Another time Jade went above and beyond for us was when she escorted our son to visit his new school (part of the transition process).\n\nFinally, a huge thank you to Tegan's team - Martin, Monica and others for making our son's time at Seabrook so enjoyable. Also, to Kathleen who looked after our son right at the start and noticed he might have an issue with his hearing.\n\nWe would highly recommend Seabrook to anyone looking for a nursery.",

## How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff ability to support children through early identification of additional needs is outstanding. The setting's special educational needs coordinator and the whole team introduce a wide range of strategies to suit each individual child. Staff have strong links with a wide range of professionals, expertly using this support to ensure all children make excellent progress. Staff recognise the need to support families within this process, giving them time to talk and signposting them to effective groups and professionals.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy exploring all areas of the spacious, well-presented, and natural environment. My son attends the Caterpillar (baby) room and we couldn't be happier with the care he receives there. Thank you to Seabrook for taking such good care of our baby.

My son went to Seabrook for 2 years and it was the best experience for him. Not only did they help tackle some eating problems he had but the difference we saw in my son in a matter of weeks was massive. The transition into nursery and from room to room was personal to my son and smooth running. They were always there when I needed a catch up on progress or any concerns I had over his development. You are all amazing.

My daughter has been here since she was 8 months old. Its not rocket science they are just there to claw bavk fhe pennies. The nursery was much better ran and not as high of a staff turnover when Emma ran the nursery. Becky works 2/3 jobs but fails to put 100% into the most important job. Mamagement and clear communucations within a childcare setting. Review edited after the response below: From your staff and other parents i have spoken to they are disgusted you couldnt do more as you have for others so lets not act like you did everuthing you could because as per the agreement the fees would have been paid this month and the arrears. I have now taken this legally for loss of monies due to failing to stick to your original agreement.

Our 2yr old daughter started here in January 2023, and at first was so shy as it was a new environment for her. I can’t fault Seabrook, thank you for making my child progress & be even more confident

Soon after joining Seabrook, we found out that our son has delayed Speech and Language due to deafness caused by glue ear which lasted 10 months. Our son has been under Tegan Knightly's care since 2021 and she has been instrumental in his gradual development. She is an absolute star. Jade Mead (Head of SENDCO at Seabrook) has been very supportive in terms of helping us applying for a school placement (we got our 1st choice) for our son. Another time Jade went above and beyond for us was when she escorted our son to visit his new school (part of the transition process). Finally, a huge thank you to Tegan's team - Martin, Monica and others for making our son's time at Seabrook so enjoyable. Also, to Kathleen who looked after our son right at the start and noticed he might have an issue with his hearing. We would highly recommend Seabrook to anyone looking for a nursery.
