The facility, located in the old Annex with an extended Preschool room, focuses on fostering exploration and independent learning. Children are encouraged to take risks, extend their activities, and use their imaginations to deepen their learning. The highly qualified team creates an environment rich with opportunities and experiences, celebrating each child's uniqueness and helping them develop a greater understanding of themselves and the world. The nursery divides its care into distinct age-based rooms: Walnut Room (3-18 months), Birch Room (18 months-2 years), Cedar Room (2-3 years), and Oak Room (3-5 years). Each child is assigned a key worker who tracks their progress using an online tool, sharing milestones and observations with parents. Seedlings Day Nursery was rated 'GOOD' by Ofsted in March 2023. Our ethos At Seedlings Day Nursery we strive to create a safe and stimulating environment in which children are free to explore and learn independently, as well as being supported by practitioners to achieve their full potential.
