Open all year, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, the day nursery focuses on delivering an ambitious curriculum designed to support every child in making excellent progress. Staff are particularly adept at fostering independence, encouraging children to try tasks themselves before offering help, which builds a positive attitude towards learning. The setting prioritises children's well-being and promotes kindness and sharing, with staff acting as good role models. Outdoor spaces are well-utilised, allowing toddlers and pre-school children to develop their physical skills and coordination through activities like climbing and sliding. The day nursery has strong provisions for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND); the dedicated special educational needs coordinator uses her knowledge and experience to identify children needing extra support and works closely with parents and other agencies to ensure children reach their full potential.
