The nursery received an Outstanding rating from Ofsted on its latest inspection on October 4, 2021. Staff plan exceptional opportunities to help all children make excellent progress in their learning, with a strong focus on physical development through engaging activities like making dough and creating obstacle courses outdoors. Children are encouraged to be respectful and independent, with outstanding support for their personal and emotional well-being. The nursery places a high value on communication and language development, introducing new vocabulary and providing outstanding support for children with English as an additional language, including working with interpreters to support families. Outdoor space Children learn directly about nature as they grow and eat carrots and potatoes from the nursery's vegetable plot. Staff encourage children to make their own obstacle courses with resources outside. This helps them to understand scale and how to sequence, connect, build and position the equipment.
