Children are encouraged to take ownership of their learning, actively contributing suggestions and making rapid progress in their development. The curriculum is well-sequenced and carefully planned to meet diverse needs, with staff adept at supporting communication and language development, even incorporating home languages and cultural backgrounds into daily activities. The Special Educational Needs Coordinator and manager work closely with parents and external professionals to plan and monitor targeted teaching strategies, ensuring children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) make the best possible progress. Children particularly enjoy outdoor exploration, developing impressive aiming skills, and young children persevere at putting on their own coats and shoes for garden play. Parents are highly complimentary of the education and care, feeling included in all decisions and noting their children's secure relationships with staff and readiness for school.
