The nursery, registered for 24 places, cares for children aged two to four years, with 23 children currently on roll. The dedicated team of five staff members, including a Montessori-trained manager with an early years professional status and a degree in early childhood studies, ensures children receive high-quality care and education. Children demonstrate strong attachments to their key persons and other staff, who foster a calm and nurturing environment, encouraging children to be highly independent learners. Children typically arrive happy and confidently, quickly settling into play, and showing high levels of confidence and engagement as they solve problems and work together. For example, when monitoring found a weakness in children's awareness of numbers, staff devised effective ways to promote number awareness further.
