With an Outstanding Ofsted rating from its latest inspection on November 30, 2022, the nursery excels in all areas including the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management. The dedicated team of 19 childcare staff, with a strong commitment to professional development, ensures children from birth to four years old make excellent progress. The nursery prides itself on its ambitious and well-planned curriculum, where children are encouraged to explore their interests, develop strong communication skills, and foster a love for books. Outdoor learning is also a key feature, with children enjoying woodland areas for climbing, balancing, and digging. Parents consistently praise the nursery, highlighting the fantastic progress their children make and the genuine atmosphere of love and care provided by the staff. Suffield Park Nursery offers full-day care and provides funded early education for two, three, and four-year-old children, operating all year round except for bank holidays, Christmas, and two weeks in August, with sessions running Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5:30 pm. Leaders are knowledgeable and skilled in the early identification of children with SEND. They promptly implement strategies to support children and use extra funding to target gaps in development.
