The extensive garden area is divided into various zones, including a mud kitchen, track circuit, climbing pyramid, and a planting space, encouraging safe and creative outdoor play and exploration. Sunbeams follows the EYFS curriculum, focusing on seven key learning areas such as language, physical development, social-emotional growth, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and creative arts. Activities are carefully planned to build and strengthen children's skills and confidence. Parents are kept informed of their child's progress through a system called Tapestry, which provides regular updates, photos, and links to EYFS development, and allows parents to contribute to their child's learning journey. The nursery also provides nutritious meals prepared daily by an on-site chef, accommodating dietary requirements and adhering to a 5-star food safety rating. Sunbeams offers up to five free settling-in sessions to ensure a smooth transition for children, with a key person meeting parents beforehand to understand each child's individual needs.
