Emphasising independence, self-confidence, and emotional well-being, Sunflowers Day Nursery encourages children to make choices through engaging educational opportunities and resources. The inclusive environment fosters positive attitudes towards diversity, preparing children for a successful future. The nursery’s approach is rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, combined with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, promoting child-initiated learning. They also provide flexible sessions to accommodate individual family needs and offer freshly prepared, high-quality food daily. Sunflowers Day Nursery has received several accolades, including awards for working with The Quest Quality Award and achieving the Bristol Standards Award, as well as Gold Awards for the Children's Rights Charter and outstanding achievement in working with children and families. She trains staff to use different strategies with particular children to help them access the same education as their peers. She refers children for support from external professionals when needed and works with parents to ensure that all children make the best possible progress. Outdoor space Children develop their physical skills in carefully designed outdoor spaces.
