Open from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, for 50 weeks of the year, this setting offers a broad and interesting curriculum that supports children in making good progress and developing skills for school. The nursery, which received a "Good" rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 31 March 2023, focuses on creating a caring environment where babies settle well, with staff building strong bonds and ensuring their needs are met, including maintaining individual feeding and sleep routines. Children engage in creative expression, for example, by making patterns in puddles with paint in the garden, and learn about different cultures through parental involvement and stories about religious festivals. The spacious outdoor area provides a wide range of physical challenges, encouraging children to balance, steer wheeled toys, climb, run, and jump. Babies are given ample opportunities for crawling and movement. The manager plans to enhance staff understanding of how to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
