Beyond nursery care, The Avenue also extends its services to older children with before and after-school clubs for ages four to eleven, collaborating with local primary schools like Leigh C E, Sacred Heart, St Mary’s, and Leigh Central. Additionally, during school holidays, they run a holiday club featuring numerous activities and outings. The day nursery team comprises experienced professionals, all qualified to at least Level 3, and trained in essential areas such as first aid, health and safety, basic food hygiene, and safeguarding. The knowledgeable staff are committed to ensuring that the children receive the help they need from the moment they join the nursery. The manager and staff engage with a multitude of professionals, providing families with support and advice. Staff are reflective and respond immediately to any advice they receive from specialist professionals. Children with SEND make significant progress from their starting points. Outdoor space Children are given an abundance of opportunities to practise their physical skills. They run around outside and improve their coordination as they balance on the climbing equipment.
