The setting features a spacious playroom for various activities and exploration, alongside a smaller "quiet room" for group sessions. Outdoors, children can explore a diverse garden area equipped with a wooden train, a mud kitchen, a climbing frame bridge, and a sandpit. Vicki manages the Barne Barton setting and is available to answer questions and provide tours. The nursery prides itself on its graduate-led team, with a high proportion of qualified staff, and collaborates with specialists like speech and language therapists and play therapists to support individual needs. The Cabin operates 50 weeks a year, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and is conveniently situated next to The Barn Site of Tamar Folk Children's Centre. The Cabin Childcare Centre is guided by its core aims: caring for individual needs, fostering achievement in children, promoting individuality, providing inclusive childcare, and creating a nurturing environment.
