Children at The Granary Day Nursery enjoy their time, quickly settling in and forming warm relationships with staff. The curriculum is designed to build on children's emerging interests, incorporating new vocabulary and concepts, as seen when staff explained the metamorphosis of caterpillars into butterflies. The nursery promotes physical development with various opportunities for muscle strength and coordination, both indoors and out. While indoor activities are well-planned, the outdoor provision is an area for ongoing development to ensure a consistently rich learning experience for all children. Staff are good role models, fostering independence, sharing, manners, and routines.
