The pre-school offers government-funded hours for eligible two-year-olds, as well as 15 and 30-hour funding schemes for working parents. It follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. At its inspection in June 2025, Ofsted judged the pre-school to be 'Outstanding' in all areas. According to the Ofsted report, the curriculum is thoughtfully designed and expertly sequenced. Children benefit from daily outdoor play, with activities such as gardening and obstacle courses. The inspector found that children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive expertly tailored support, and that staff work collaboratively with external professionals. Our ethos At the Little People Pre-School we strive to offer the highest level of care for the lowest price. We do things a little differently. We provide a large range of breakfast cereals, toast, waffles, pancakes etc. We ask you to provide a packed lunch for dinner time, snacks are offered throughout the day. A cooked meal is served at tea-time so your children will leave the nursery fully satisfied. What it's like Staff are highly skilled in promoting children's emotional and physical well-being through a nurturing and responsive approach, leading to excellent relationships and regular outdoor play. Children are very happy, calm, and emotionally secure, flourishing in this inspiring pre-school with exemplary behaviour.
