The day nursery is open all year round, from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, and offers government-funded hours for three and four-year-olds. It was registered with Ofsted in 2007. Ofsted inspected the day nursery on 10 December 2024, rating its overall effectiveness as 'Good'. The report noted that managers and staff create a calm and caring environment where children's well-being is prioritised. Inspectors found that children are confident communicators, develop a love of reading, and have many opportunities to play outside. The curriculum is well-sequenced and ambitious for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. The learning activities are both fun and educational, helping my child thrive. The food is delicious, nutritious, and always well received. My son has been attending for only two months and absolutely loves it. He always goes in smiling and comes out wanting to return. He enjoys the activities offered, such as story reading and baking, and I can see his development in various skills. I'm really happy that we chose this nursery and highly recommend it. My son loves attending nursery and its because he has such a wonderful time when he is there, and is so well looked after. He started when he was 11 months old, and although I was worried to leave him in a new environment at such a young age, i need not have. The team in the baby room are so lovely and you can tell they truly love what they do. I would absolutely recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for a setting that is full of love and fun for their child. The actual space is also really great, large spacious rooms that are light and full of toys and learning equipment. Always clean and tidy (not sure how with so many kids running around!) She has felt right at home from the start and from our very first visit we could tell the staff has the best interest of the children in mind. Everyone was very attentive, caring and we felt very informed about how our daughter spent her days at the nursery. We received updates and lovely pictures in the parent app and felt like good communication with the parents is a priority here. The nursery has created a nurturing and encouraging environment that helps the children to learn new skills and fosters their creativity. From growing potatoes to sports day, celebrating different cultures and special events, the curriculum will keep the children interested and entertained while fostering their love of learning. We watched our daughter become a confident ,curious and friendly child and we are very grateful to everyone for making her nursery experience so joyful.
