The nursery is committed to working closely with parents and carers, adopting a key worker role to support each child's development, and places a strong emphasis on learning and playing both indoors and outdoors. They encourage children to learn and discover through play, make decisions, and take manageable risks, fostering confidence and self-esteem while promoting respect for the environment and others. The Strawberry Patch Nursery is dedicated to supporting development through effective reflective practice and utilises an online learning journal called Tapestry to keep parents informed of their child's progress and daily activities. The nursery provides distinct rooms tailored to different age groups, including a Baby Room, Transitional Room, Main Room, and Pre-School Room, along with specialised areas like an Outdoor Classroom and Orchard Friends area, ensuring a stimulating and age-appropriate learning experience for all children.
