The school prides itself on its inclusive atmosphere, where every child is made to feel part of the 'Woodlands family' from the moment they arrive. A unique tradition involves each new student creating a clay bird that resides in a tree at the school entrance, symbolising their journey through Woodlands until Year 2, when it 'flies on' with them. The school aims to provide a rich and creative curriculum, delivered by enthusiastic and dedicated staff, to ensure children develop essential skills and a lifelong passion for knowledge. Parents are encouraged to take a personal tour with the Headteacher or a member of the Leadership Team to experience the school's ethos firsthand and ask any pertinent questions. What it's like Children show positive relationships with staff who provide comfort to support their emotional well-being, helping them to feel safe. They know routines and are encouraged to have a 'can-do' attitude to learning.
