The nursery focuses on celebrating children's achievements, both big and small, and staff skilfully follow children's interests to extend their learning through a mix of child-led and pre-planned activities. Children are encouraged to explore and engage, with staff actively listening and responding to their input. The curriculum is designed to sequence learning across each room, ensuring children acquire necessary skills at each stage of their development, leading to exceptional progress. The nursery maintains strong partnerships with local schools, helping to prepare children for their transition to Reception Year. They also have a clear nursery ethos with a shared vision for children's learning across all rooms. The setting closely monitors children's development, utilising a successful in-house programme to support those with special educational needs and/or disabilities or developmental gaps, enabling them to make rapid progress. Mealtimes are used as opportunities for learning, where children are encouraged to make healthy choices and discuss nutrition. The outdoor provision includes a pumpkin patch for younger children to explore and a forest school area and climbing frames where children are encouraged to manage their own risks, developing skills to navigate physical challenges safely. Staff use expressive language and voices to engage children, fostering their confidence and self-belief. They also build on children's home experiences, celebrating their successes with peers.
