The latest Ofsted report, dated 4th February 2025, rated Tiddlywinks York as "Good" in overall effectiveness, reflecting the dedicated approach to early years education. The setting places a strong emphasis on building professional partnerships with parents, using information about children's interests, home experiences, and current development to help them settle in and enjoy their time at the nursery. " The curriculum at Tiddlywinks York is ambitious and designed to help all children gain the necessary knowledge and skills for their next stage of education. Staff are skilled at observing children both indoors and outdoors, assessing their development, and taking swift action if any learning gaps are identified. This includes providing targeted support in collaboration with parents and other professionals, ensuring that all children, especially those with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), make good progress in their learning and development.
