She also suffered serious chafing and discomfort after being placed in a nappy many times too small for her. This happened again a month later despite us complaining to the nursery and an investigation taking place.\n\nStaff turnover is worryingly high and there is a distinct lack of experienced staff. There is a compulsory meal charge and you are charged for 'sundries' that includes nappies and wipes, despite parents being expected to provide these for their children.\n\nMy daughter cried whenever she had to go. Open all year round, Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 8 pm, the day nursery ensures children have warm and secure bonds with staff. The curriculum, which focuses on resilience, confidence, independence, and creativity, builds on children's prior knowledge as they progress through the day nursery. Children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress in their learning and development, with provision adapted to meet individual needs. Parents note the conscious effort to support and include children with SEND. Staff effectively develop children's language skills through repeating words, introducing new vocabulary like "scooping and pouring," and using simple sign language to support communication. Children love being outdoors, having access to the garden for most of the day, where they develop independence by putting on their own coats and boots. Older children engage in forest school activities like climbing trees, while younger ones develop skills on obstacle courses.
