They emphasise strong relationships, consistency, and care as fundamental to a child's development. The staff are highly qualified, with management and deputies holding Early Years degrees, and continuous professional development is a core part of their ethos. All team members are paediatric first aid trained and hold Designated Safeguarding Lead qualifications, alongside training in food hygiene. Tots2Teens provides free meals, snacks, nappies, and wipes, ensuring all consumables are included. Outdoor play is highly valued, with children encouraged to learn through exploration and movement in all weathers, promoting physical development and well-being. The nursery is community-focused and strives to create a secure, family-like atmosphere where children feel loved and supported. They believe in strong parent partnerships, maintaining open communication and mutual respect to ensure consistent care and understanding for each child both at nursery and at home. Our ethos We are deeply passionate about early years education and believe that strong relationships, consistency and care are at the heart of children’s development. Ongoing training is a key part of our ethos, because when our team grows, so do the children. We believe children learn best through exploration, movement and play and being outdoors supports their physical development, confidence and wellbeing.
