Children show eagerness and motivation during play, focusing on activities due to staff having high expectations. The curriculum is clear and designed to offer meaningful experiences across all areas of learning, supporting children to develop positive attitudes and high concentration. The nursery places a strong emphasis on children's well-being, including "emotion coaching" to help them label their feelings. For babies, flexible care routines are in place, with "white noise" introduced in the sleep room to promote sounder sleep. The dedicated Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENDCo) has received thorough training, enabling them to support staff in caring for children with special educational needs. Individual educational plans and specific teaching strategies, such as Makaton and picture communication cards, are effectively used to aid children's progress, with additional funding well-utilised for support.
