The nursery features two dedicated rooms: a toddler room and a pre-school room, both well-equipped to support early years development. To ensure a smooth transition, the nursery provides a free one-hour "stay and play" session for children and parents, followed by a two-hour settling-in session where parents can leave. Home visits are also available upon request. Children are assigned to a colour group with a key practitioner and have individual colour-coded coat pegs and trays, fostering a sense of belonging. The nursery follows an EYFS-based curriculum, with various areas of the nursery dedicated to different aspects of the curriculum, including literacy, mark-making, and expressive arts. A strong emphasis is placed on promoting independence and practical life skills. Welbourne Primary Academy Nursery also boasts an outdoor area for children to explore.
