The nursery operates from a charming three-storey Georgian property, with an additional setting, Shambles, opened in 2019, located just 800m away. Both nurseries are designed to foster play, learning, and growth in a healthy and natural setting, valuing each child as a unique individual. The curriculum focuses on developing confidence, independence, and well-being through curiosity, discovery, and magical experiences. The nurseries take advantage of their local surroundings, frequently visiting Victory Fields and Barton Farm, and running a weekly forest school in the Country Park and woodlands throughout the year, regardless of the weather. The nursery aims to provide a space where children can thrive and explore their potential. Our ethos Westview Day Nursery's philosophy centres on fostering curiosity, discovery, and magical experiences to develop children's confidence and independence. They are committed to providing a healthy, natural setting that values each child as a unique individual, with a strong emphasis on outdoor learning through weekly forest school sessions in local parks and woodlands year-round.
