Woodlands prides itself on a highly experienced leadership team with extensive teaching backgrounds in both private and primary school environments. They believe in fostering a love for learning and enabling every child to reach their full potential within a safe, inclusive, and natural holistic play-based setting. The nursery has dedicated rooms for babies, 2 and 3-year-olds, and a preschool room led by a qualified early years teacher. Our ethos Woodlands Day Nursery & Preschool believes children develop best through facilitated child-led learning, and learning through play. We promote individual skills and decision-making, and give children access to facilities and equipment at all times, under the care and guidance of our specialist staff. At the Woodlands we believe in a natural holistic play based approach to learning. This enables staff to enhance the child’s learning and not interrupt their play but to support them in their play.
