They have a large play ground area, forest garden and kitchen garden where the children help to grow their own fruit and veg, they even have chickens!\n\nIt has a lovely community feel with the parents being able to get involved with various events through out the year. The staff are great and turnover is low. They are always finding new and exciting activities for the children and have been really supportive when my son have been going through changes such as dropping naps and potty training.\n\nIt has also been a great place for me as I have met loads of the other parents and have developed a lovely social group. So glad that my son has a couple more years to enjoy being here.",

Our little boy loves the huge outside space, the forest garden and the kitchen garden and has progressed well both emotionally, physically ( he learnt to ride a bike before he was 3 at the nursery) and is school ready.\n\nThe facilities at Woodside are great, but what we have been most happy with are the staff, who have become part of our village. They keep our active little man challenged and entertained, he is very happy to go and has made great friend, as have we.\n\nIn addition the nursery are very supportive of parents joining in with activities and encourages parents to take an active role at the nursery, including the Thursday Gardening club, parties, reading and much more.\n\nWe will miss all at Woodside nursery and thank them for helping us to give our little one a fantastic start in life.",

My little one has so enjoyed the last 3 years here, it's been such a joy to be part of a nursery which is so integrated with the local community. The staff are brilliant making great activities and learning for the children. The space is lovely and large for great outdoor play which is so important yet often hard to find in London. Highly recommend this nursery.",

What it's like to attend

> They comment that their children are happy, excited to attend the setting and make good progress.

Inclusion & environment

## How they support every child

SEND provision

The support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and those in receipt of additional funding, such as early years pupil premium, is good. Staff identify potential areas of need and then use funding effectively to fully benefit each child it is allocated to. This gives effective support to ensure that children with SEND and vulnerable children make good progress, and it helps to narrow any gaps in their development.

Outdoor space

Children are encouraged to take measured risks in their play, particularly in the outdoor environments, including the dedicated forest school area. They have vast opportunities to be physically active as they explore and negotiate in the exciting and imaginative play spaces.

My son attends the nursery here and absolutely loves it. The space is amazing, no other nursery I looked at had so much outside space. They have a large play ground area, forest garden and kitchen garden where the children help to grow their own fruit and veg, they even have chickens! It has a lovely community feel with the parents being able to get involved with various events through out the year. The staff are great and turnover is low. They are always finding new and exciting activities for the children and have been really supportive when my son have been going through changes such as dropping naps and potty training. It has also been a great place for me as I have met loads of the other parents and have developed a lovely social group. So glad that my son has a couple more years to enjoy being here.

My little boy has attended the nursery at Woodside centre since he was 10 months old and will now be starting school in September. We have loved our time at the centre, a place that feels like our second home. Our little boy loves the huge outside space, the forest garden and the kitchen garden and has progressed well both emotionally, physically ( he learnt to ride a bike before he was 3 at the nursery) and is school ready. The facilities at Woodside are great, but what we have been most happy with are the staff, who have become part of our village. They keep our active little man challenged and entertained, he is very happy to go and has made great friend, as have we. In addition the nursery are very supportive of parents joining in with activities and encourages parents to take an active role at the nursery, including the Thursday Gardening club, parties, reading and much more. We will miss all at Woodside nursery and thank them for helping us to give our little one a fantastic start in life.

We have loved Woodside Nursery. My little one has so enjoyed the last 3 years here, it's been such a joy to be part of a nursery which is so integrated with the local community. The staff are brilliant making great activities and learning for the children. The space is lovely and large for great outdoor play which is so important yet often hard to find in London. Highly recommend this nursery.

This setting gives professional advice and help, creating a supportive environment for families and children. Furthermore, translation for families with English as a second language. I love to do sessions Stay&play with, Ephy, Marlene, and Helen.
