About our nursery data

Each nursery listing is built from a combination of sources:

• Official Ofsted records — including inspection judgements, URN, address, registration status and age range.
• The nursery's own website — for opening hours, fees, photos and contact details where these are published publicly.
• Information provided directly by the nursery — when an owner claims or edits a listing through our owner workspace.
• Other trusted public sources — such as government childcare registers and local authority listings.

We regularly re-sync nursery records against official sources and re-check public websites. When a nursery owner updates their listing, those changes are reflected on the live page once they pass our review queue.

Where information is uncertain or cannot be verified, we flag it internally rather than display it as fact.

If you spot something wrong or out of date, every listing has a "Report an issue" link. We review reports and update the listing where needed.
