About this day nursery

Abraham's Care Nursery & Preschool, established in 2008 initially as an after-school club, has evolved into a comprehensive childcare provider located in Canning Town, East London. Catering to children from 9 months to 5 years old, the nursery prides itself on offering high-quality, affordable and personalised childcare within a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment.

Their approach is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, emphasising a learn-through-play methodology that nurtures creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking. The curriculum is designed to build a strong foundation for academic success, with programmes tailored for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers that focus on their individual developmental needs.

Led by founder and manager Melanie Gill, who brings over 20 years of experience in early years education, the dedicated staff team is committed to providing a "home away from home" atmosphere where every child feels valued and is encouraged to reach their full potential. Abraham's Care operates under the River Christian Centre, a registered charity.
