Inclusion & environment
Staff run daily 'social interaction groups' in small, focused groups to support communication, and they confidently use British sign language to aid children's understanding.
Children can choose to play outside throughout the day and many do; outdoor play includes mixing herbs with teabags and water, exploring the large sandpit and using an outdoor kitchen. Every morning staff and children go for a daily 'run' on the adjacent school field (children run two laps and then sit in the shelter).
My daughter has been attending since December, she's 2 for reference. And the staff there are amazing and I cannot recommend them enough! They are there for the family as well as the child and go above and beyond. My little girl thoroughly enjoys going to nursery, and most days she goes doesn't want to leave.
