Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress from their starting points. Children with SEND benefit from targeted support from other professionals, staff and parents to ensure their individual needs are met.
In the warmer months, children spend the day in the nursery's spacious and inviting garden, which provides them with enjoyable outdoor learning experiences. Children develop excellent physical skills, skilfully using climbing apparatus and learning to navigate and negotiate space successfully.
This is a real home from home and such a lovely little nursery. Jos and the team did everything possible to make the transition to nursery as easy as possible and supported both us and our child in that. The experienced team make it clear they understand how difficult it is leaving your child with anyone and how precious our babies are. Our boy started when he was 10 months and he has absolutely blossomed there. He loves attending for his two days a week, which means I can not only relax but feel confident I am giving him a valuable experience and investing in his development. I couldn't recommend more.
Read on GoogleMy little girl has recently started at Alvechurch and Bordesley and she is absolutely loving it. She comes out so happy and full of excitement to tell me what she has done that day. The communication between staff and parents is fantastic. We are always kept up to date wether its just a reassuring message to say they have settled into the mornings activities or a detailed account of the fun they have had as a group. The opportunities that the nursery provide are so enriching for the children with weekly library visits and most recently visits to church. I would happily and highly recommend.
