Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The manager is committed to supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). For example, she works closely with specialists, such as the visual impairment team. Staff work incredibly well to follow the strategies suggested by specialists. Children with SEND make good progress from their starting points.

Outdoor space

Outdoors, children have the opportunity to practise their large-muscle skills as they jump on steps and balance. This helps children's core strength and coordination. Staff encourage children to consider their own safety, for example, by talking about the busy road outside the setting.

Ambers attic nursery is such a loving place. My son has been here for almost two years and he’s just grown in confidence so much. We had some trouble potty training and they helped so kick with this. His vocab has improved significantly because of Emily,Pam Rebecca and Raqaia in preschool. Emily is a stand out member of staff, with so much energy for the little ones. Sharna the manager is truly incredible she is so helpful in all aspects, she goes out of her way to make things work for the parents and children. The staff show so much empathy and love to the children they always end up crying when it’s time to leave! The cost I find are reasonable and the food is great my son has dietary needs which have never been a problem at this nursery. We are so sad to be leaving in sept for big school! I wish he could stay longer!

Ambers attic is an an amazing nursery! They’ve helped my daughter with her speaking and learning, staff are amazing very helpful and understanding they go above and beyond for everyone in the nursery. When my daughter first started she was very nervous but within 3/4 days she was settled. She loves going into nursery and seeing the staff and her friends. Would highly recommend ❤️

What an amazing bunch of girls ( and the chef!) that work there. They are caring, friendly, approachable, professional and would only recommend these for nursery. My son has additional needs and definitely feels like a second home to him there. 100% recommend Ambers Attic

My son has been attending to Ambers Attic Nursery for over a year now and he is so happy there – it feels like a second home to him. All of the staff are so nurturing and supportive and they provide him with so much care, attention and positivity. I have always found the key workers to be very communicative and the admin team are so efficient. I would highly recommend Ambers Attic to anyone looking for a nursery in the area and I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful and happy environment for my son.Kinga Julian and Kacper 🎈💙

Absolutely could not recommend Ambers Attic enough! The staff are always so welcoming and friendly and they provide such a homely environment. My older two children both attended and came on leaps and bounds and my soon to be 2 year old will be starting in September! A special mention to Katie who made some incredible bonds with my boys and Shannah and Ruqayyah for always being so welcoming! Thank you, Kayleigh x
