Our ethos
We believe that children should develop in a nurturing environment where each child can blossom in their own time and space. At Apple Blossom Nursery, we understand that children are naturally curious, this means we will nurture their curiosity throughout our setting. We will follow the lead of the child by encouraging their learning through their interest. By providing experiences, exploration and care to allow the curious minds of the children to flourish. We find that children have the desire to acquire knowledge and skill with a warm-hearted and responsive environment. We will follow through with this by: - Following the child's lead - Answering their questions - Asking open ended questions - Playing with natural materials and loose part play - Being interested in their process not the end product - Valuing each child - Allowing the children to learn independence

We have recently moved to the area after living 2hrs away. I drove here to visit Nurserys for our daughter and just instantly got a welcoming vibe from Caroline. I had a list of questions I wanted to ask, and Caroline answered them just in conversation without me even asking! Since our daughter has started here, she is super excited to go and see all her friends and teachers! She has the best time and feels so comfortable and you can really tell that Caroline absolutely loves what she does. She makes this place feel like home for the children and they really connect with that too! Everybody who works there is so friendly and approachable and the welcome that the children get when they come in is so happy and it’s lovely to see. The range of activities and learning opportunities they have is faultless, I could not be happier with our choice of nursery and have already recommended more people to contact Apple Blossom about sending their children here! Thank you Caroline and team for making this transition easy for our family after our big move, we appreciate you.
Read on GoogleIt was July 2024, and my daughter, who was almost 4 years old, didn’t have a place at a special needs school. So I contacted this nursery to ask if they had availability to care for my daughter with special educational needs — she needs 1:1 care, is non-verbal, and autistic. Caroline quickly invited us to visit the nursery. Other nurseries refused my daughter because of her needs but Caroline said "We will look after her". Our daughter loved everything — both her classmates and the staff. Her sister also loved the nursery, and when she turned 2, she joined successfully — which means lots of joy at drop-off and lots of tears at pick-up. Both have different educational needs, but both have developed on every level. Caroline and the staff provide daily feedback on how the day went — the communication is clear, concise, and relevant. I feel that the staff and Caroline are very knowledgeable. We have a parent portal where photos of our children are uploaded along with notes explaining how the activities went. These activities are varied — for example, Sports Day, baking cookies, reading stories, walk in the area around the school, sensory activities… The nursery is also helping with potty training for both my daughters. My older daughter will have to move to a specialist school next academic year, but I am sure she will miss this school. I cannot praise them enough, I am so grateful for them.
Read on GoogleApple blossom nursery, where do I even start? Firstly by saying you guys are FANTASTIC!!! I looked at so many nurseries for my little boy, I just couldn't find any that I clicked with. My Dylan is wonderfully different and it takes a special person to understand him the way I do. Caroline and Neve just get him! He literally runs to nursery everyday. He bounces up and down at the gate absolutely filled with excitement to go and play. I have to rely on his actions to tell me if he's happy or not so it was really important to me that I could see how much love he has for both Caroline and Neve. They honestly go above and beyond their duty of care! Dylan has come on leaps and bounds since starting nursery. It's a huge relief to watch him run into nursery with a massive smile on his face everyday! Dylan feels safe and comfortable and so so happy at nursery. I cannot recommend them enough. If like me, your looking for a nursery with a personal touch, a nursery that thrives on the happiness of our children, Apple blossom nursery is the place!
Read on GoogleI was so very happy to find apple blossom for my son. when you visit places you need to get that feeling and I had it the minute I walked in. Caroline and Neve are wonderful with my son, he's always learning, having fun and is so very happy here. It's a small, loving and caring environment that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for that safe and warm place for your little people to be well looked after.
Read on GoogleMy two boys absolutely love this nursery. Their settling in time was so easy. They run in excited each day to see the staff and talk so fondly of them. They come home with great pieces of art that shows that someone has spent time with them and shown them how to do things.
