Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children are supported well, overall. This includes children who speak English as an additional language and those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Staff work well with parents and other agencies to improve children's development and help them make good progress in their learning.

Outdoor space

Outdoor learning is exceptionally well planned and organised. For example, when pre-school children investigate and explore their natural environment, they use artefacts, magnifying glasses and real snails. Toddlers have a large area for digging and choose which fruit and vegetables to plant, enhancing their understanding of the natural world.

EAL / language support

Staff help children who speak English as an additional language to acquire good speaking skills through regular songs and music. They offer good opportunities for children to hear and use their home language in the setting, ensuring that children feel valued and settle in quickly.

My 3 year old daughter attended for almost 4 months and we absolutely loved it. They have great hours. I saw the growth and learning every day! All of the staff love having her and she loves seeing them. And best of all, the children seem very happy there. When I saw my daughter interact with the other kids, they were attentive and shared toys with her. It’s very nice to know that she was in a caring environment while she wasn't home. The layout out of the nursery is really well thought out and they have a huge range of activities for the children. My daughter particularly took interest in water play and painting. When she started, she had a designated key person to ease her transition into nursery which enabled her to quickly adapt to her new settings. I also Ioved the daily feed backs and Monthly updates online with photos. Overall, the nursery is very organised with highly professional staff who hold themselves to the highest standards, a very happy and caring environment for both staff and little ones.

Staff were always welcoming, kind and gave me relevant information when needed for my daughters progression. The tapastry app was a nice update to see what she has been up to for the duration of her time there. She seem to enjoy her time there
