Inclusion & environment
Staff expertise in teaching children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) means that these children make exceptional progress through support including visual prompts. Children with SEND take part in well-planned learning activities and staff build sensory experiences into their day to help children to be calm. Staff are knowledgeable about children's needs and adapt learning for them.
Staff carry out rigorous daily risk assessments, checking that the gate is locked and there are no dangerous objects in the outside area before children enter the space. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
