The nursery is committed to providing a nurturing environment, and its policies are reviewed annually by the Nursery Manager and St John's College's Nurse. ' The nursery actively participates in government funding schemes to offer subsidised places, including the 15-hour universal funding for 3-4 year olds and the 30-hour working families funding for eligible children from 9 months until the term after their third birthday, though they do not participate in the 30-hour scheme for 3-4 year olds.

Availability for funded-only places depends on current occupancy. Admissions to the nursery are subject to an initial refundable registration fee.

Pricing & funding

Fees are calculated by multiplying the weekly fee by 48 weeks and dividing by 12 for equal monthly payments. Rates are split into two bands for families affiliated with St John's College and Oxford University, categorised by age (under and over two) and full or part-time attendance.
