About this day nursery

Banbury School Day Nursery, established for three decades, provides comprehensive day care for children from birth to five years old. Open from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM year-round, except for a two-week Christmas closure, the nursery can accommodate up to 80 children daily.

5 to 5 years. The nursery prides itself on its "Healthy Smiles Training" accreditation.

It has received an "Outstanding" rating from Ofsted in May 2017, was named Banbury Guardian Nursery of the Year in 2018, and won Best Independent Nursery at the National Nursery Recognition Awards in January 2019. Families interested in enrolment are encouraged to call to arrange a tour.

The manager has greatly improved the clarity and content of the curriculum and is continuing to review this to ensure that all learning is meaningful for children. Staff know children well and understand how to support their good progress. There is a strong focus on teaching children to develop a love of books and to take pleasure from adults reading to them.
