Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) make good progress from their starting points. The staff ensure they get to know families really well and work with outside agencies to set targets and help each individual child thrive. The experienced special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) helps other staff to understand children's individual needs and how to support them.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy having a lot of time to explore the indoor and outdoor environment. They make the most of their surroundings and go out on regular visits to the park, taking managed risks as they jump, climb and balance on logs and obstacle courses.

We left this nursery three months ago, and honestly, we still miss it so much. It was more than just a nursery it felt like a second home for our child. The love, care, and attention the staff showed every single day were truly exceptional. Rayan was so happy there. He felt safe, confident, and genuinely loved, and that meant everything to us as parents. The team supported his development beautifully and always went the extra mile to make him feel special. The memories and progress he made there will always stay with us. Even after leaving, we still talk about how wonderful this nursery was and how grateful we are for the care they gave Rayan. We will always appreciate everything they did and would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a caring, nurturing, and professional environment for their child.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with this nursery! It’s a warm, caring, and creative environment that really supports children’s development through engaging sensory and learning activities. The facilities are excellent – there are two separate gardens for babies and toddlers, spacious rooms with views of the park, and everything is kept very clean. They follow a no-shoes policy inside the rooms, which we really appreciate. The baby room also has its own changing area with access to running water. The staff are absolutely lovely – kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. My little boy started here at 8 months old and he settled in so well. He’s now 18 months and already talking! We’re so happy we chose this nursery – it’s made such a positive impact on our son’s early development.

Awesome! Our daughter joined the nursery when she was just over 6 months. She couldn't even sit and the staff made sure she had age-specific chair, mobile and care. Our daughter is now 1.5yo, she is super happy to go to the nursery everyday. There are plenty of activities and we can see what she does through the day thanks to photos shared in a secure app. The staff is amazing. Drop-off and pickups are always great times. We had an initial issue with the previous manager because of a start delay, but the current manager is not only nice, but very professional and great at communicating and planning ahead. To picture things better, children have plenty of celebrations, a large variety of educational toys (they were even some ducklings!), food is prepared on site, there are outings in the neighbourhoods to visit playgrounds. Children have access to secure external play areas, and when it's hot like these days, a small inflatable pool has been set up. Couldn't be more pleased :)

My daughter attended this nursery for a little longer than 2 years. I cannot praise the staff enough, the lovely atmosphere and Jo's delicious cooking! Also managers are always available and knowledgeable. Every morning we arrived there was an inviting toys set-up, my little ones made great friends and she still mentions her teachers, she has learned a lot through fun and being safe. Thank you Barney Bear! 🐻☺️❤️

Very friendly staff who are polite and bubbly. I loved every moment my son came here and so did my son. Tamana, in particular who was my son's key worker is a superb lady, had my son's best interest truly at heart. They prepared him by nurturing his interests and needs really well so that he was ready for full time school!
