Bearnecessities Wrap Around Care @ Abraham Moss provides a good standard of early years education for children aged 2 to 4 years. 30pm.

Staff are kind and caring, building affectionate bonds with the children, ensuring they feel safe, secure, and thoroughly enjoy their time there. Children explore the environment with confidence and are encouraged to make choices about their play.

The day nursery is highly inclusive, welcoming children from diverse backgrounds and ensuring resources and displays represent various cultures, which helps children to understand different people and ways of life. Staff are good role models, setting high expectations for behaviour and teaching children to play cooperatively, share, and take turns.

They effectively develop children's communication skills, using stories to broaden vocabulary and supporting those who speak English as an additional language with simple sentences, flashcards, and gestures, often using words from children's home languages shared by parents. The day nursery supports children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, quickly identifying developmental gaps and working closely with parents, the SEND coordinator, and external agencies to set appropriate targets.

Partnerships with parents are strong, with invitations to stay-and-play sessions and regular progress reviews. Children are supported in developing independence through tasks like peeling fruit and pouring drinks.
