How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff are secure in their knowledge of children and how they learn best, adapting the curriculum to meet all children's needs successfully. They work closely with parents to identify when additional support may be needed and work alongside other professionals to access specific funding. The inspector discussed children's learning and how staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.

Outdoor space

As children play outside, they develop their strength while moving in different ways. Children manoeuvre themselves safely on the balance bikes, knowing which direction to travel and that they need to stop at the zebra crossing. Young children enjoy climbing on the tyres and walking along the wooden planks, balancing well. On occasion, staff do not consider the impact on children's attention and concentration when preparing for outdoor play, which can be disruptive. Leaders and managers know what is needed to raise the quality of children's experiences even further, such as ensuring that outdoor practices keep children safe and are consistently implemented.

Where to start! It’s very amazing nursery .. very professional room leaders who knows what they’re doing and always welcoming ❤️🫶🏼my Son was very happy, excited for every single day to meet them and his classmates.. I liked them all especially Sara Perez she’s amazing very welcoming and nice always with smile she is one of the best people,I love when I see people who love their work and definitely she’s one of them. however, I was two minutes late in picking up my son. During this instance, I was met with a tense voice tone and an attitude that conveyed frustration. While I understand the importance of punctuality, the Nursery Manager and Designated safeguarding Lead communicated felt unnecessarily stressful. I have also spoken with another parent who experienced a similar situation and was even asked to write a pledge for being late by a similar margin. This practice seems to be creating an atmosphere of anxiety among parents regarding punctuality. These interactions have made me feel quite nervous about being a few minutes late, and I believe other parents share this sentiment. It is important for us to adhere to the nursery's schedule, but a more understanding and supportive approach would be greatly appreciated.

We had a wonderful experience at BH, with both our children. The staff and manager are caring, nurturing and supportive, they create a lovely and familiar environment. Both my kids have loved being there and making their first steps of independence. I cannot recommend BH more for all the parents in the city centre.

My daughter Nadia loved this place. It’s been 3 years since we moved back to Saudi Arabia and she still remembers it and naming her teachers.
