Beechdown Health Club comprises Beechdown Crèche and Beehive, operating within the Beechdown Health Club in Basingstoke for members' children. Established in 1996, the nursery offers all-year-round care.
The Crèche caters to children up to 3 years, while the Beehive accommodates children aged 3 to 8 years. Children attend for a maximum of two hours per day.
Both settings are housed in two large rooms within the club and benefit from access to a secure garden and a communal play area. The nursery actively supports children with special educational needs, adapting equipment and resources to ensure full participation and successful integration within the group.
Children also benefit from an exceptional range of outdoor activities through walks in the surrounding area and play in the enclosed outdoor space, utilising equipment such as bats, balls, wheeled toys, and climbing equipment in suitable weather. Staff foster excellent relationships with parents, providing a friendly and supportive environment for all families.
Children settle exceptionally well, forming positive relationships with both peers and staff. They enjoy freely choosing from a variety of imaginative and dynamic indoor and outdoor activities, including a play station, snooker, plasma TV, and extensive art and craft materials, which contribute to their comprehension of the environment and appreciation of creativity.
