The nursery, which received an overall "Good" rating from Ofsted in April 2025, focuses on an ambitious and sequenced curriculum.
Staff effectively use detailed information about each child's prior knowledge to extend their learning, encouraging critical thinking and supporting the development of speaking skills and new vocabulary. Children benefit from flexible settling-in arrangements tailored to individual needs, and staff are positive role models, promoting good manners and boosting self-esteem through purposeful praise.
Specialist visitors, such as police officers, enhance the children's understanding of different occupations and challenge stereotypes. The nursery also works closely with parents and other professionals to provide personalised support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, utilising strategies like photo cards and visual timetables to aid understanding. Children are encouraged to develop good hygiene habits, including learning toothbrushing techniques, and staff support their awareness of healthy lifestyles.
Behaviour is consistently good, with children showing friendly relationships, and staff skilfully guide them in understanding emotions and the nursery's golden rules. Partnerships with parents are strong, with daily communication and shared photos keeping parents involved in their child's development.
Leaders are committed to continuous improvement, regularly observing staff practice and providing supervision to enhance knowledge and skills. The nursery operates term-time only, from 9 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday.

Outstanding nursery! Pam the owner is the kindest and so professional. All the staff are so lovely, our little one loved them. They would organise amazing, educational and fun activities on a daily basis and then provide daily updates via an app along with cute photos. They made sure our child ate when she was hungry. When we left they gave the kids adorable leaving gifts. We are so grateful! Thank you!
Read on GoogleOur daughter loves going to her nursery. She is very happy and that makes us happy too. The nursery has a wide variety of activities and also invites special people on special weeks. She still talks about the policeman, the handcuffs and costume she got to wear.
Read on GoogleThe best decision made made for our children! Our twins joined Berry Lane as they turned two and have just turned four and will be moving up to reception in September. They’ve had the best two years I could ask for. The staff are so kind, loving and supportive! Thank you 🥰
