Inclusion & environment
Parents comment on the support they receive to help with their children's additional needs. Staff share ideas of how parents can help children to learn at home, encouraging them to speak slowly and clearly and explain everyday events to support language development.
Children explore the outdoor area and learn to keep themselves safe in the garden. They follow rules while feeding fish in the nursery pond, collect rainwater to feed plants, and enjoy dancing and singing outside in the rain. Staff plan opportunities for children to develop their physical skills outdoors, using equipment like a tyre walkway, wooden beams, pallets, and tree stumps.
Both my children go to Bilingual Day Nursery and love it! This nursery is superb and I'm so pleased we chose this environment for our boys. The staff and management are fantastic and they clearly love their jobs. The attention to detail and love that my boys receive is first class and they get the added bonus of learning another language at the same time! Me and my wife would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to friends and family.
Read on GoogleOur twins have been so well looked after at this brilliant nursery part time for the last 3 years - amazing care, staff, community participation and development. We've been so pleased with their and our experience. The Spanish they've learnt along the way is going to be an incredible lifelong skill. A place where there's a great balance between being looked after and playing but also learning, exploring, socialising and developing important skills. We're very grateful for the nursery and it's staff's part in our children's life so far 👍
Read on GoogleOur son has attended the Bilingual Nursery for nearly 3 years now and he absolutely loves it! The staff are all wonderful and really care about the children and their development. My son’s Spanish skills, all learnt from his time there, also continue to amaze me. I’m so glad that I chose this nursery for our son and would happily recommend it to any parents.
Read on GoogleI couldn’t be happier with the nursery. They are amazing. Our son has additional needs and all the staff are so caring and attentive to his needs, getting him involved with other children and having space to himself if needed. They also create and update target plans for his development which we can use for him at home and at nursery. We get weekly updates with photos and what he’s been up to that week which is always great to see. Jemma has also been helping us with his next steps ready to start primary school. Our youngest will be joining soon. Thank you Bilingual Nursery!
Read on GoogleOur daughter has been attending Ashby Bilingual nursery for almost 2 years now. I struggle to fault the nursery. The staff are always so warm and friendly to my daughter. She loves all the lovely ladies who work there and has developed great relationships. The staff have great communication in letting you know how your child is getting on day to day but also in relation to milestones and major progression. When my daughter first started, I found that the regular use of Tapestry was helpful. They send pictures regularly, and update on what she’d been eating, drinking and her toilet / sleep habits too. This was all updated as they went so nothing got forgotten / missed. Handover is always smooth and they make you aware of any worries / concerns and what your child has achieved and excelling at. The food is diverse and my daughter always eats very well. They go on little trips all the time, to markets, the library, the park etc and do lots of activity’s such as baking, Zumba and yoga. I have already registered my new baby to attend for the end of the year. Thank you to Jemma and the team for all the support with our daughters education 💜👏🏼
