What parents say

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection

They express that they feel that staff know their children well and support their care and education effectively.

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are supported well. The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) and staff know the children well and know how best to support them. They work together with parents and devise tailored plans to support the children's individual needs. Furthermore, activities are planned and adapted, where necessary, to ensure that all children are included. This means children with SEND make good progress in their learning.

Outdoor space

Staff ensure the children have daily access to the garden and set it up with a range of activities that support children's learning in all areas. Children love being outdoors in the fresh air, moving around with pleasure and confidence, and are encouraged to be imaginative during their play.

Blooming kids is an amazing nursery. The amount of care, love and attention showered on my son is incredible. I really appreciate how there are regular updates on how he is faring via the app and they have captured so many exciting moments for us to see. It is a small setting but the level of passion and love is mindblowing. I will always recommend this nursery and if you are thinking about bringing your kid here, just do it.

My daughter has been with Blooming Kids for a year now and their quality of care is exceptional. As an educational professional myself, I was really impressed with their provision, clearly taking a lot of inspiration from Montessori principles, and was absolutely secure sending my child even before they received their first Ofsted inspection which also graded them 'Good'. They are constantly developing, improving and looking for new opportunities for learning experiences. The staff are all incredibly friendly with a vast amount of experience among them. They have really gone out of their way, know each child really well and take safeguarding significantly more seriously than I have seen in some other settings. As parents, we couldn't be happier with their provision and we have never experienced any problems with communication - quite the opposite infact! We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Well, I went to visit the nursery in January 2022. I fell in love with the setting. It’s small and child focus. My eldest is in a different nursery, which is large and lacking the focus on the child. My son first few days, as no doubt fill any parent with anxieties. Well I don’t know what an earth I was worrying for. He has settled so we’ll, for an 11 month old who has been exclusively breastfed and never spent more than 3-4!)975: away from me. The staff were supportive and allowed me to bring in expressed milk. He has been comforted to sleep like he is at home and they have ensured they know when he’s woken so can anticipate his nap. No “one size fits all” which is the best place ever. I am so excited about his journey through this nursery.

Could not be happier with this lovely setting for our daughter. She has been at Blooming Kids for over a year, first in the up to two years room and now on the older room. The staff are second to none, engaged, imaginative, friendly and helpful. She is so happy attending this setting. Could not recommend it highly enough!

Had twins in this nursery for past 4 years and dispite me being generally hard to please :D I was pleased :) I've chosen this nursery over others due welcoming, warm, loving nature of staff. During the years my kids always had safe enviroment to express their feelings and needs, someone to come to for comfort, cuddles. I know that teachears in this setting are constantly learning and growing so they were able to accomodate special approach where needed and help with challanges we sometimes as parents find hard to deal with. Kids key worker is just amazing. She is most likely made of magic seed as she always smiles, is calm, keep seing positives in any situation, see best in kids even in their worst :D
