Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
"Parents talk highly about the nursery and the staff."
"They appreciate the good progress their children are making, especially with their language development and confidence."
Inclusion & environment
The special educational needs coordinator works well in partnership with other agencies, parents and staff to reduce any gaps in children's development. She ensures that any developmental concerns are responded to quickly. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are fully included in all activities.
Children have plenty of opportunities to develop their physical skills and enjoy fresh air outdoors. Older children take calculated risks and jump off equipment and walk along crates, while toddlers walk on a balancing beam holding staff's hands.
We recently visited this nursery in station road,Chingford with my wife for our 18 month old baby, and we were genuinely impressed. The place is outstanding bright, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed with a wide range of sensory games and learning experiences that are perfect for young children. The environment feels safe, stimulating, and very well organised. What really stood out to us was the staff: extremely attentive, caring, and professional, with a clear passion for looking after children and supporting their development. *very good Job* It truly feels like a wonderful place for a child to start their nursery journey. We left feeling confident and happy with our choice, and we are now waiting for the registration to be completed. Highly recommended we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Thank you John Ariza
Read on GoogleThis is a small nursery with a lovely, homely feel. I viewed three other nurseries but this one stood out to me and my mum (who is a retired primary school teacher). My daughter settled in very easily here and is always happy to go. The nursery has a well thought out policy/procedure for everything and are very professional and organised. The carers are warm and friendly, and the managers are efficient and responsive. We also receive a lot of communication from the nursery. We have zero concerns about sending our daughter here and are so glad we chose this lovely nursery.
Read on GoogleOur son has been attending the nursery for almost two years. He can be quite shy at times and take a while to warm up to different environments and people, but he loves his nursery class. The classroom staff are brilliant, they are caring, thoughtful and kind. During the pandemic, the nursery has been very careful and also very accommodating of parent’s needs and circumstances.
Read on GoogleOur daughter has been attending since she was 9mo. She's now moved up through 3 different rooms, and we always found the staff in each room very thoughtful, attentive, and caring. We receive detailed feedback each day about what she was doing, eating and how she was feeling. The list of activities children do each day is veried and interesting. The toys are high quality, predominantly wooden, Montessori-style. Children spend time outside most days, with different play area dedicated to different age groups. The only thing that springs to mind that could be improved is decor - it's a bit tired; and some rooms seem small / crowded. To me, it's of secondary importance compared to the other points listed above.
Read on GoogleI was trying to find the words to put how I felt about this nursery after the personal tour and then I read the previous reviewers comment. Its exactly how I felt. Staff were nice enough but it seemed like they lacked any warmth which I think is needed when working with young kids. The morning we visited was quiet warm and the nursery was boiling hot. I nearly passed out. All I kept on thinking about is 'poor kids and staff members'! No one looked happy there which is strange! The place also needs some improvement on the outside and inside. I was looking forward to visiting bright horizons Chingford as it was my first choice but as soon as we stepped out, my husband and I both said no. As previous reviewer wrote, they must be doing something right as its popular and it has outstanding from Ofsted but it was just not the right feel for us. Anyways, we were promised a price list was going to be emailed to us and to this day we are still waiting.
